Under the patronage of the Executive Director of Al-Madinah International University, Associate Professor Dr. Fadlan bin Muhammad Othman, the Faculty of Islamic Sciences announces to host the 4th International Conference on Contemporary Islamic Studies and Emerging Issues 2021, on: 29 (Wednesday) and 30 September 2021 (Thursday), according to the following details
About the conference
Undoubtedly the subject of exploring the future from an Islamic perspective is regarded as one of the issues that attract sights and grab the attention. It is of critical significance because Islam’s universality and system, and its comprehensiveness of the human instinct makes it a religion with holistic and clear vision for the future. Therefore, it was the task of the scholars, researchers and knowledge seekers to stress the connectedness between the religion of Islam and the establishment of the future. They have to treat and judge the future based on the Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah, and exert their efforts to provide an answer to the question: Is the correct understanding of Islam considered to be one of the future priorities? In addition, because of Islam’s global and immortal message to all humanity at all times, and because of its jurisprudential structure which is flexible and renewable, it contains all the changes in the frame of Islamic Law, without shunning away from the movement of life. Giving the extremely far future importance is one of the most matters present in the concept of time with the Muslim.
Several forums, conferences and research centers based on their capacities have made sure to answer this question. Al-Madinah International University opted to have a share in this pursuit through holding its Fourth conference which will be organized by the Faculty of Islamic Sciences entitled “Foreseeing the Future in light of the Contemporary Realities from the Islamic Perspective”. That is an attempt to clarify the basic principles of the concept of foresight in the Islamic perspective through a descriptive methodology which provide the opportunity for researchers and knowledge seekers to present their viewpoints and opinions on the academic and methodological concept for foreseeing the future through the Islamic and humanistic approaches; Dogmatic and doctrinal, Sunni, social, educational, economic, political, medical and leadership approaches, in a pursuit to show that the idea of the future is deeply present in the cultural mindset of Muslims, because the issue of religion itself is based on a futuristic principle based on the expectation of an ideal image, translated doctrinally, academically and practically. And Allah is the Grantor of success.
